Family guide.
Start with your school club; Club Play is not a public walk-in event. Students attend through an approved school-group route or, where school and district policy permit, with their own parent. Students sign themselves in at the door, and there is no advance League form.
Arrival
When and where
Club Play opens with the unscored Kickoff on Thursday, September 24, followed by six scored Thursdays on October 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, and November 5. The League plans every Thursday at Maclay School, 3737 N. Meridian Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32312, subject to final facility approval.

Use the maps for campus orientation only. The exact event entrance, parking instructions, and room assignments will be sent through school contacts before that school's first visit. Follow those instructions rather than choosing an entrance from the campus map.
Weather changes are sent to school contacts and covering adults and posted on the calendar page by 3:00 PM Thursday. If a student needs an accessibility accommodation or arrival detail in advance, contact the coordinator. On an event day, the coordinator is also reachable at 206-724-6052.
Responsibility
Students attend through an approved route
Club Play is not a public walk-in event. A student attends through a recognized school academic club or homeschool collective. Most attend in a group with a supervising adult approved by that group's own authority. Where school and district policy permit, a parent or legal guardian may remain and cover only their own student. The adult covering a student is responsible for arrival, departure, conduct, emergencies, and school communication.
League officials run check-in, team formation, game rooms, scoring, and the building. Families arrange transportation subject to their school's policy. No League volunteer drives a student home, and no student leaves without the adult responsible for them knowing.
A club sponsor does not have to attend. The approved adult may change from one Thursday to another, and one adult may cover several schools only where every school's authority has approved that arrangement. A parent using the permitted individual route covers only their own child.
Practical questions
Cost, forms, food, and what to bring
The Kickoff and all scored Thursdays are free to students and schools. The two planned Saturday tournaments are separate, require their own approvals, and would be priced at cost; a fee can be waived without an explanation.
Students and families submit no individual League form before attending. That does not make Club Play a walk-in event: the school or recognized homeschool group must first tell the League its club is participating and approve the route by which the student is covered that Thursday. Most students attend with the group's supervising adult; where school and district policy permit, a student's own parent may remain and cover only that student. A school may require its own permission or trip paperwork and is the source for those instructions.
Food, drink, and waiting-area rules are still being confirmed with the host. Do not assume a meal is provided. Final instructions will say what is allowed and whether sealed snacks are available. The League does not collect allergy, dietary, medical, or medication information; families should follow their school's process for those needs.
Students do not need equipment or study materials. Buzzers, question packets, pencils, and scoresheets are supplied. Bring only what your school asks you to bring.
Privacy
Three identifying fields, chosen at the door
At first check-in, the League records a full name, school, and chosen public handle. Signed-in operators use the full name to run the event; public results use only the handle. The League does not collect student contact, guardian, medical, or transportation information.
The League keeps the record of a season indefinitely, so a student can point at a result years later. Public pages show only the handle, and a student or parent may ask for a full name to be removed from the record. Identifiable photographs appear only after LCAL records the required school and family authorization, and an authorized administrator can unpublish a photograph immediately if that authorization is withdrawn.
