How schools commit, season by season.
Commitments are annual. The deadline for the 2026-27 inaugural season is June 1, 2026. Subsequent seasons re-up by May 1.
Annual commitment
A school's commitment is for a single season. To play in any given year, a member school confirms its participation in writing to the coordinator before the announced deadline. Each year, every member school re-ups the same way.
The 2026-27 inaugural season has a one-time later deadline: June 1, 2026. Starting with the 2027–28 season and forward, the deadline is May 1 of the year the new season begins.
Sitting a season out
A school that does not re-up for a given year is not deactivated. It remains an invited member, listed publicly as a non-participating member for that season, and is free to re-up in any following year. The league's intent is to keep the membership pool stable across years so that scheduling, sponsor commitments, and competitive expectations stay predictable.
Deactivation
A school is only removed from the league's roster if it formally withdraws or has closed. Historical match records are retained even after deactivation. Reactivation is at the Board's discretion.
